- Definitions
2.1 Agreement: An agreement concluded between the consumer within the framework of a system organised by the entrepreneur for the distance sale of products and/or services, whereby up to and including the conclusion of the agreement exclusive use is made of one or more techniques for distance communication.
2.2 Consumer-Customer: The natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with GITELIER.
2.3 Day: With regard to shipping and delivery, we only use working days.
- Applicability
3.1 These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer. The consumer-customer and the entrepreneur acknowledge the legal validity of electronic communications, as stipulated in European law.
- The offer
- 4.1 All products and promotions initiated by Gitelier are non-binding. GITELIER reserves the right to change prices whenever necessary.
- 4.2 Each product is displayed with a truthful description of the product. The description is such that the consumer/customer can form a new opinion about the product. The product photos used are supported by this description.
- Payments/Shipping Methods
- 5.1 All prices are shown in Euros, including 21% VAT.

5.2 All prices shown exclude shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 5.3 Shipping costs will be deducted from the order payment.
- 5.4 Shipping within the Netherlands costs €4.95. GITELIER also ships within Europe.
- 5.5 GITELIER uses prepayment. After placing an order, the customer will receive a notification with the paid amount and a track and trace code.
- 5.6 Discount codes are not valid on SALE items.
- Delivery
- 6.1 GITELIER expects delivery within 2-3 business days of receiving your order in the Netherlands. This delivery time does not apply to weekends, public holidays, or other EU countries (see the Shipping & Returns page).
- 6.2 The customer will receive an email if for any reason the shipping time deviates or takes longer.
- 6.3 The shipping time stated is an estimate. Exceeding the shipping time does not entitle the customer to compensation or reimbursement.
- 6.4 The place of delivery is always the customer's horizontal address.
- Right of withdrawal/return policy
- 7.1 The return costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer. Therefore, the customer can report a return via the contact form (see the 'Shipping & Returns' page). Please keep all return tracking codes until your return has arrived at the delivery address.
- 7.2 After carefully assessing the order for any problems, stains, etc., the customer will receive a refund within 7 days. This refund excludes shipping costs.
- 7.3 The customer may return the order within 14 days of receipt.
- 7.4 The right of withdrawal does not apply to hygiene-sensitive products.

7.5 The right of withdrawal described above lapses when: The product has been worn (tried on more than once) or washed;
The product is damaged. The labels and/or tags are missing or removed.
- Force majeur
- 8.1 In the event of force majeure, GITELIER will be entitled to proceed with any agreements. Under no circumstances will GITELIER be liable for any fines or compensation.
- 8.2 Force majeure means: any shortcoming that cannot be attributed to GITELIER, because it is not too important to its fault and it is not its responsibility under the law, legal act or restricted access in traffic.
- Liability
- 9.1 GITELIER will under no circumstances be liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of money, resulting from business stagnation.
- Complaints procedure
- 10.1 The entrepreneur implements a compensatory complaints procedure and handles each complaint during this procedure.
- 10.2 Complaints will be handled within 14 days of receipt of the complaint.
- 10.3 After assessing the complaint, GITELIER offers a warranty within 90 days of purchase.
